DESIGN DIRECTION - PROJECT MANAGEMENT - DESIGN LEADERSHIP
Food Preservation Portfolio
From 2018 - 2023 I led the design team responsible for the Food Preservation portfolio.
I was seconded to Stockholm for this role to be the design lead responsible for the European transformation project. This was the largest capital investment project in European history.
This program encompassed all product types, including built-in and freestanding models in various sizes, and involved both internal and external production with OEM and ODM partners.
My role expanded throughout this time to take on people leadership but the core design challenge was to establish a cohesive and distinctive design identity for the AEG and Electrolux brands within the Food Preservation category.
I extended the role of design to cross functionally support in mechanical design considerations, supplier strategy and industrial engineering to design for automation and process.I have been closely involved in the go to market strategy, trade presentations and commissioning of digital content to support the design storytelling and successful launch of the products.
