SUSTAINABLE INNOVATION - PROJECT MANAGEMENT - DESIGN LEADERSHIP

Grey is the new white

This project redefined industry standards in food preservation design. Advanced Development R&D had a breakthrough but struggled to gain product team buy-in. I led the design team in reframing the challenge, positioning grey as the new white.

Recycled materials make pure white difficult to achieve. Instead of compromising, we worked with suppliers to adjust the masterbatch, maintaining both sustainability and performance. This bold shift required significant investment and a rigorous global test plan to validate consumer perception and messaging.

The result? A world-first innovation, multiple awards, and the foundation for a globally expanding product range.
